Plenty of helpful oppos assisted in my search for Xbox knowledge so I figured I would update. Scored a One S 500 gb new for $139.00 then proceeded to spend a ton on other crap. 1st off regular batteries in the controller?!?! Ewww! And I can’t understand the damn menus! Beyond that seems like a neat system and my son is loving it. Got a few games being delivered tomorrow and we downloaded roblox, trove, Pac man, and a few others all have been really cool. All in all I think I’m going to take advantage of it being here and may even spring for a game for myself! For now roblox mini tanks will keep me busy. On the way is Rayman legends, minecraft, lego marvel hero’s 2, plants vs zombies, super luckys adventure 2, and I have a sharp eye out for horizon 3. Any good games for the 10 and under crowd would be greatly appreciated.

Target has a promo to get a $50 gift card when you buy an Xbox and they price matched a $189 deal i found on the web. So technically i still paid 189 but we go to target a lot so the 50 gift card is as good as cash to us.

Rayman Legends is awesome. Make sure you have more than one controller because it works best as a co-op game. I’ve been playing it with my kids a lot.

My kids really enjoyed Skylanders and Disney Infinity. The servers for Infinity were shut down, but the kids can still build and play on local maps. You might be able to get a whole pile of the toys used for cheap.

Rayman Origins and Legends are both excellent games. Personally we like Origins better (wife calls it “marriage counseling”) but they’re both solid fun slapstick platformers.

Yep its taking the place of Rachet and Clank we play on ps3. Always got to have a good silly 2 player game handy.

We have the lego version on ps3 and it’s pretty good but I’ll be avoiding any more like that if I can just because of the storage mess. The stuff is everywhere except where it needs to be.
